Story
Hello Lovely people,
We're writing you as we're about to embark on a very special journey.
Laura, Sarah and I are heading up to climb mount Kilimanjaro and reach the peak of 5800m.
We would like to dedicate this track and spiritual journey to the Seed Academy in the slums of Kibera, located in Nairobi, Kenya.
We have visited the school, had a conversation with the director, the 4 teachers (Lovely ladies that have their own children going to the school) and the actual children.
When my friend, Laura, and I were there, we helped measure their feet, as we wanted to buy them shoes from a local factory, as they were walking barefoot.
This time, we would like to reach out to you, and request your assistance with raising money for these kids to have school books so they could improve their English and have a chance to earn a living with the help of education.
We will be sending you pictures from our journey up the mountain, would be thinking of you, and draw powers by your generosity to be able to make it to the top in the 6 day track ahead of us.
If you have words of encouragement along with your financial donations we will remember them ringing in our ears as we cope with the altitude.
Our sweat alongside with your generosity will mean those kids get to feel just a little like we do as they sense a brighter future.
It means so much even if you can only give a little.
Please action it now
Thanks you so much for reading our story and for every penny you could spare.
Laura, Sarah, Enrique and Maya
