Yesterday, I brought Luna to the vets because she wasn't eating, stopped acting herself & wasn't using the toilet. Within a matter of hours, my 5 year old baby who's had perfect health her entire life was diagnosed with a sudden autoimmune disease. Suddenly, her red & white blood cells had decided to attack themselves.

This awful diagnosis, means she needs a blood transfusion to help her body start to heal. Blood transfusions are £5000 roughly, and my insurance only goes so far.

Even if this treatment works she'll need to be on steroids for a while after.

Luna is my baby. I've had her since she was a kitten and she is my entire world. She loves to play hide & seek, watch birds from the windows & receive 100% of humans attention. She's not very bright or agile.... We always say "we don't love her for her brains" 🤣 she's the silliest little cat, butts her head & falls over making small jumps 🤣😭

She often won't eat human food, she's not very food motivated! But he favourite snack is soil from Mummy's houseplants....

I left her at the specialist hospital last night and can't stop crying. Every doorframe I just see her green eyes hiding behind it, every piece of carpet that should have her beautiful fluffy coat on it doesn't, I don't feel the lump at the end of my bed taking up 80% of the room anymore....

I will pay as much as I can with the help of my parents and insurance, but I work in admin doing ordinary work & live paycheck to paycheck. If I could, I spend every penny of savings to get her home where she belongs.

I will be selling my car too.

I urge you to please help me save my baby. I don't want children of my own and I often say "she's the only child I'll ever have". The grief & heartbreak I've felt in the last 24hrs is something I wish on no one.

Please help me, save her. My little Luna lune, my Miss Mischief, my Little Chomper. Please help me get her home so she can have naps & pay Mummy's Snuggle Tax.
