Story
Two weeks after the government announced front-line GP surgeries would be provided with appropriate personal protective equipment to avoid contracting coronavirus (COVID-19), the clinical team at Medwyn Surgery is still waiting for their delivery.
Despite these exceptionally challenging circumstances, our doctors and advanced nurse practitioners continue to assess and treat patients who urgently need our expertise, even though we do not have the appropriate standard of equipment. We are committed to keeping Dorking's population safe during this unprecedented period and consequently need your help in ensuring we are protected - so we can continue our vital roles.
We therefore ask for your help in supporting our community we whatever you can donate. Thank you.

4 years agoIn 48 hours our funding target was exceeded with the generosity of patients, local residents and Dorking cycling club - raising £5670! We are absolutely delighted. Scrubs, clogs, masks, gowns and visors have all been ordered. The masks and clogs arrived today. Gowns should arrive Wednesday or Thursday and by the end of the week we will have scrubs for all the clinical staff. Recognising other local GP surgeries in Dorking have similar supply issues, we will work together to support them too so the entire Dorking population benefits.
