We will be participants of the 2018 Malawi Expedition with Gleniffer High School, Paisley.

The 2018 Malawi Expedition is a group of 32 students from who come together and fundraise for a life changing opportunity.

The expedition provides the chance to work with the charity Classrooms for Malawi (http://www.classroomsformalawi.co.uk/about-us-2) to help and support the pupils from Dzenza Primary School in Malawi education by rebuilding and renovating the school. In addition we will be visiting orphanages and other projects in the surrounding area to experience what life is like and offering help wherever we can.

Part of this experience is independently fundraise to pay for this trip instead of relying on family members. Together we need to raise just under £7,500. The money will be used to get us to Malawi to carry out the renovation work. As 16 and 17 year olds this has been a challenge so every little bit of fundraising helps. Over the last 16 months we have raised over £5000 through bag packing, bucket collections, race nights, quiz nights and bake sales. All of which couldn’t have been possible without the great support from family and friends.

We are have one further fundraising event planned but as we are reaching the end of our fundraising time so we would be very grateful for any more support you would be able to give.
