    Story

I first found out about the Buddhist Monks and local activists in China saving little dogs in Yulin, as these little dogs are my first love - Tibetan Spaniels. My life has been a whirl with these little Tibetan Spaniels and I adore each and every one but when I seen China during the Yulin Festival...I cried for weeks...because here were my first loves being horrendously slaughtered in the most inhumane manner to end up on a dinner plate....I cannot ever in my l life time accept this way of treatment and to know the end result is a meal on a plate, this just sends me into true despair. The history of our Tibetan Spaniels, as other oriental dogs in Tibet , were bred in the Monestaries as little warning dogs to warn and raise awareness for the Monks of danger approaching the Temples. They were also companionship dogs to the Buddhist Monks and they learned to turn prayer wheels during prayer sessions.. When I found out that the Buddhist Monks , especially Master Guo, in China, was trying to save these little oriental dogs by intercepting and purchasing them before slaughtering...i looked at my own little ones faces and i just knew in my heart I had to do something to support those on the front line , dealing with the horrors of slaughterhouses where thousands of little dogs and cats are tortured and killed...... If you can help me in anyway...please do so...its for the dogs and cats of China to survive and in their last days and hours when those wonderful people do what they have to do and intervene saving them from torture and death.....Please help in any way you can thank you so kindly

In our first year of helping the Buddhist Monks and Activists, we raised funds to help with medicine and veterinary care of the 250 dogs rescued.. the activists did not have the money..luckily we had a little that went to help so very much. I hope we can help in 2019 again.
