This group is the dream of Marie Jevon. She has such great ideas and forward thinking plans for the group members; which range from 2 years of age to adults. There are quite a few of us working along side Marie and we are ALL volunteers. We come from all walks of life, working, non-working and carers. All we aim for is to help, support and provide a calm and hassle free enviroment for the people we love and care about, unconditionally and passionately. The support isn't just for the people with Autism, it's there for the families, the friends and the carers. To have a sensory garden/vegetable patch, would not only help with the senses and visual appreciation, it would help to show how things can grow from something so small and overcome weather, good and bad; and become something that feels sensational, smells amazing and some can taste delicious. It would also benefit anyone who becomes involved with the project, to allow them to give the benefit of their knowledge to help with integration of young and old to show that everyone can and does help each other, while working together.
