    Story

Thank you for taking the time to read my story!

    Hi ,

My name is Megan and I am a 17 year old deputy assistant commissioner ambassador who has been involved in the London Fire Brigade Cadets for just over 3 years and my mission is to help build a new 6 classroom school and sponsor teachers in the mountains of Nepal to create a sustainable education for Nepalese children who are in the poorest regions of Nepal.Better education is urgently needed as 71.6% of males and 44.5% of females do not have any form of education.

This region also suffered a unimaginable amount of destruction to villages and communities from earthquakes that they had last year meaning that the reason for my visit and need for schools is even greater.

Donations will fund the building of a new school and enable me as a cadet to go to Nepal and help finish off the build where I will also meet with the children and villagers who will be using the facilities.

If anyone would like to support me as a London Fire Brigade Cadet or have any ideas about how I can raise the money then I would love to hear from you. I personally have set some events up which include doing local car washes, car boot sales, dog walking and so much more!

If you would like to follow my progress and what I am getting up to my Facebook page is Fire Cadet Megan fundraising to go to Nepal.

Thank you so much and again with your generosity and my determination to get or exceed my target I will be able to go and complete this life changing and eye opening experience!

Without your help opportunities like this would never be possible !
