In the Summer of this year our beautiful 6 year old daughter Megan started having seizures that led to an early diagnosis of Epilepsy. After having an EEG and MRI scan 2 months ago, we were given the devestating news that Megan has a large Brain Tumour on her Left Temporal lobe. The Tumour is the size of an Apricot and surgery to remove it is our only option as the epileptic attacks, whilst appearing quite mild, are actually having a catastrophic effect on the structure of her Brain.

Because of the size and position of the Tumour Megan may have some difficulties with her memory function, speech and language skills and mobility and vision on her Right side. Words fail us to describe the hole this has left in our Hearts, the helplessness we feel for this amazing little Girl who's intelligence, caring, humour and lust for life are a joy to behold. All we have is Faith and Hope that the Surgeons at Bristol Childrens Hospital can keep our little Girl whole and she pulls through this quickly and with a little rehabilitation can get on with her wonderful life and return to doing all the things she loves...including School!!

With Surgery Imminent our little Megan has been through so much already with a weeks 24 hour EEG monitoring, more MRI scans than can even be remembered, needles, poking, prodding and she deserves the World...the Stars...everything. Her smile and enthusiasm has never faltered, not once even though the Meds for the seizures are making her sad and depressed she still has that Gorgeous Beaming Smile at the end of it all.

We want to give our Girl so much but we are so stetched financially because of this that we have taken the decision to try a Crowdfunding page to hopefully raise some Money to give Megan a Holiday early next year when her recovery allows. Give her something positive and exciting to look forward to...even if we only make it to our Favourite spot in Charmouth that will be enough news to bring that Wonderous Smile back to that Beautiful little face....
