Cylch Meithrin Teifi Adpar is the only pre-school educational facility in Newcastle Emlyn.
It is currently under risk of closure as the council have withdrawn use of the building that it has been situated in since opening in 1973.
No alternative accommodation or funding has been offered by the council.
After a long search a new premise has been found. However in order to bring the building up to standard to pass inspection the Meithrin is facing costs running into thousands of pounds.
Meithrin runs as a non profit charitable organisation and simply does not have the funds to facilitate the move.
Pre-school education is vitally important in setting the standards for a child's educational and social development. Meithrin has been providing this in our community for the past 45 years.
We are asking anyone who is able to spare even the smallest amount to please help us in supporting the move and keeping Cylch Meithrin Teifi Adpar open for future generations.
