On 26th March 2018 the family of Cherry Johnson, a much loved 26 year old received the news that she had tragically ended her own life, leaving behind her 2 young children and heartbroken family members. Having met some of Cherry's family members on Friday evening at work where an event was held in her memory, and seeing the true devastation of her loss, I have decided to dedicate my half marathon to her. This is to help support her 2 young children in the immediate future, whilst raising awareness of mental health. Although awareness is increasing, mental health is still taking too many lives and this needs to be changed. Please support me in my 4th half marathon which will be taking place on 13th May 2018 in Leeds!
