Story
Bayanzurkh Hospital in Ulaanbaatar serves it's local community in the heart of the city, including the Ger District. For over 12 months British teachers at the British School of Ulaanbaatar have worked with the hospital to help to improve the experience of the children who have to stay in the hospital. We make monthly visits to the hospital, bringing with us early years toys from the EYFS department of the school, for the children to play with. Currently the children's ward has no play room and no toys. However, the hospital have now cleared a space on the ward to provide them with a play room for continuous use.
We would now like to fill this playroom with toys.
Toys for early years children are difficult to source in Mongolia. The money we raise would enable us to purchase toys in the UK and have them shipped to Mongolia. As you can see from the photographs, the children love to play, just like any children. Please help us to provide a respite for these children whilst they are in hospital.
