Since the 2015 Nepal earthquake, a year after we visited Nepal for an Everest trek, I have been supporting the direct local relief efforts of friends we met there, through donations and church sales. Now I hope to complete a sponsored 5 mile run in order to raise the larger sum needed for the continuing relief and school building projects in this desperately poor but fine country, still devastated by the earthquake's destruction.
