    Story

My husband Alan scott was sadly miss diagnosed with T CELL NON-HODKINSON LYMPHOMA CANCER, in 2015 which devastingly resulted in alans death on the 12th march 2018. Alan put up the biggest fight on ward 2a in whiston hospital, were the doctors and nursing staff were truly amazing and really went above on beyond for Alan. Alan was truly the bravest man i know battling chemotherpy every month for the last year of his life, which evently took its toll on Alans body and he could no longer fight his cancer.

As Alans wife and mother of our 4 children millibo 15 years, Ellis, 11 years, Alan junior 6 years, and reggie nearly 2 years, it has been really important to me to start a foundation in Alans name to not only raise awareness of T CELL NON-HODKINSONS LYMPOHMA CANCER, but to offer support and hopefully knowledge about the disease to other familys in the same sitsuation, on our facebook page below

    https://www.facebook.com/The-Alan-Scott-Foundation-187441425401504/

i also want to raise money for the cancer patients on ward 2a of whiston hospital, as i know the pain and sufferring they go through on a daily basis, first hand being with Alan everyday day supporting him through his illness, not only physically, but emotionally, battling chemotherpy treatments in the hope they will beat there cancer and get to remission.

With the money i raise i will be making the 21 cancer patients of the hematology ward 2a at whiston hospital, boxes to help make there stay at whiston slighty easier for them, as Alan was in whiston hospital constantly from August 2017 to march 2018, he only came home for the last 3 weeks of his life when the hospital could do no more for him, then he spent his last night in whiston hospital the night he died as he felt safe there. We didnt realise how expensive it is to have cancer, and have to stay in hospital, when the chemotherpy makes you too ill to come home, or even be able to do daily tasks they everyone takes for granted.

The boxes will include .... tv cards, costa vochers, wh smith vochers, sweets for their sore mouths, lip barm, cross words, tooth brushes, tooth paste, deodorant, flanels, shower gels, eye masks and ear plugs, just general essential items to try and brighten up there dull days, Alan received one of these similar boxes off the RALPH JONES FOUNATION, and he was so happy with the gifts, just being able to watch the tv, with out it costing the earth, was a great help, this is were i got my inspiration from, so if i could make the 21 cancer patients of the hematolgy ward 2a at whiston hospital feel as happy as alan did for one day, it would be great to be able to give something back, and hopefully give other cancer patients the postive attidude to keep on fighting and lift there spirts as the box alan recieved lifted his
