We follow Merthyr Town Football club home and away and it is our home from home on Match days. Unfortunately the club is in debt with an uncertain future. A recent 25k tax bill has been paid but there is still a large debt to offset. The club is a community non league club and supporting various teams including ladies football and walking football. Football has been played at Penydarren Park since 1908 we hope that the interim and shortly appointed new board can restructure the club and we ask for your help as walk Pen-Y-Fan in the Brecon Beacons to help raise some funds towards off setting the clubs debt. On February 4th 2018 all fans welcome to join us and walk we will be walking from the footbridge at the Storey Arms car park 08:30am if your walking why not share and join in.
