I'm an aspiring midwife and would love to travel to the Dominican Republic with GapMedics to volunteer in local hospitals. This experience would give me the opportunity to gain knowledge about my future career and learn more about midwifery across the world. It would be an amazing experience and so rewarding to help out in a hospital across the world. I think midwifery is such an important profession and I want to begin helping out every way I can this summer. I'm saving up money and fundraising but will need more to reach my goal, so any way anyone can help is hugely appreciated.
