Story
One training facility for all 30 teams currently affiliated to Bookham Colts FC. At present we use multiple sites of differing quality. One training site will allow volunteers to feed off each other and feel part of something bigger. Development of our young players will improve as a result.
By having a state of the art facility we will be able to attract more players currently not active, to the club
We have £110,000 raised already and now just need this final £10,000 to ensure we are able to complete our build and have the right maintenance provision in place for the long term future of the facility ...

5 years agoPlanning permission is now in for our application to increase the height of the fencing from 3m to 4m … all supported by KGV, EVRT and EEFRA !! We should be building very soon for the site to be ready in the summer - we just need a final push to get this last 10k in - the community will benefit greatly from this fantastic facility. We should all be proud of what we are going to achieve in making this happen.

5 years agoWe have now concluded all meetings with contractors and plan to sit down with our chosen supplier in order to get the very best deal for Bookham Colts and KGV. Our requirements have largely stayed the same but we plan to raise the fencing to 4 meters and build in some recesses for goals etc. Exciting times and thank you all for the continued support and donations. All being well we can agree terms with KGV very soon and start work in March/April 2019. I am confident we can reach our target on this page also ;)
