The 'Southern Judokan' judo club has for 15 years served our local community and we continue to do so. Our mats have worn out and need weekly repairs to keep them safe.

We are putting on extra classes to raise money for a new larger mat area.

Judo is an education, the sort that is difficult quantify. We all bring different strengths and weaknesses to our judo and like a mirror it helps us see ourselves more clearly. Judo is hard, fun and respectful. We teach children from 5 years old and adults too.

We also have a social element. We are twinned with a judo club from France and every year we either host or visit French families, friends across the water - whatever one thinks of 'Brexit'!

Please come and train with us, especially the extra weekend classes which are raising money for our mat replacement fund. Any donations are also gratefully received. Thank you.
