Our beautiful princess contracted encephalitis and was left disabled form the neck down, we was told by doctors they didn't think she would make it, but after being in hdu for 2 weeks she came round but could only move her head side to side she had lost all her muscle tone we didn't know what was happening with our princess and was only ever told she had a virus, it was heart breaking we had a healthy 2 1/2 yr old now we had a disabled child, she was eventually discharged from hospital but we still had no answers, we had to carry our daughter everywhere she couldn't walk talk stand or even hold her head up but she tried so hard, we was completely heart broken, after being home a few days we contacted our local surgery and a doctor came to check on her , when the doctor arrived she said our daughter tiammi had gone back to a new born, they had received the hospitals discharge letter and then we were finally told she had encephalitis since her illness in 2016 she has started to walk , talk again but still very unsteady and unclear, she recently had another mri which has now shown the cerebellum(largest part of her brain) which does her movements, coordination, balance ECT has been damaged by the virus it is small in size so she will never be able to ride a bike hold a pen properly, do up shoe laces, buttons ECT also her 4th ventricle is big and saggy due to damage from the infection after looking into this there is help out there for her if we can pay private as she need intense physio therapy and alot more speech and language having all the private treatment she needs is very expensive the nhs is good but its not enough this is our reason for tiammis funding page please please can you help fund our little princess so she can get the medical help she so desperately needs to give her a much brighter outlook on her future no matter how small every little helps thank you all so much we love you so much our little priness thank you to eveyone for reading our story xx
