    Story

This is Bea our 1 year old ragdoll named after my mum who passed away last September.

Bea has started to show declining health neurologically. We have already gone through our yearly entitlement for her insurance and unfortunately the referral to a specialist for an MRI, spinal tap and hopefully diagnosis is going to cost us anywhere from 2000-4000.

Any help would be really appreciated. We lost a cat last year due to FIP and we're hoping that we can get to the bottom of her illness and get her well again.

Hi everyone, Just an update on Bea. Her appetite is finally beginning to return and she is more active than previously. Her coat is beginning to regain its shine and she's started to groom non painful areas. Bea has spinal tenderness as a symptom of her FIP so is currently on Gabapentin to help with this. Thank you to everyone who has donated so far you have all been so generous and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

The Specialist has now started Bea on a FIP treatment that is needed for 12 weeks. For a 5 day supply it has cost us around 600 pound. We are looking for help to fund the full treatment and vets bills also. Any vet bills will be posted as soon as we have copies so everyone knows that we are using the money as we say we are and if any extra is left over we will then gift this on to another pet parent who is struggling. Bea should also be home with us today.
