What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

My mum is my best friend! She has taught me everything ill ever need to know in life. I cant imagine my life without her, she helps me through everything, is always there for me no matter what, and most importantly, always makes me believe in myself. If i end up half the woman she is, I will be happy. She is the best mum, best nanny to my boys and just my best friend.

For those of you who dont know, my mum has metastatic disease. This means the cancer in her bones is secondary. (She was diagnosed with breast cancer 10 years ago) Although they dont seem able to find the primary. Her cancer is incurable and i know everyone who knows her will agree that she deserves everything she wants now, and for the rest of her life. She always puts 100% into all aspects of her life and i want to give her that back

From when i was a kid, she always spoke about seeing the northern lights. She always said she would see them one Day. And i think she more than deserves the chance to see them. This is an experience we (as her daughters) want to enjoy with her. She is the glue of our family and we want to do everything we can to make her final days memorable. We want to take care of her, make her happy and make sure she realises how loved she really is!

I think we all, not intentionally, take our parents for granted. I’ve never had both, my mum was always both, but she is everything to me. I’ve never needed anything more than just her. She leaves a print on everyone she meets in life, she is so loved and I hope she knows that!
