My daughter Chloe has a genetic condition called von hippel lindau syndrome. At the moment she has 4 brain tumors. One has got to big for surgery if they do surgery she will die. So she is being sent to Florida for proton beam treatment which is being funded by the NHS . If Chloe's tumor was treated back in March she would not have to go to Florida . Chloe will need to stay in florida for treatment for 11 weeks
So we are asking for funding to help keep Chloe and her carer for the time she is out there. Chloe was diagnosed with VHLwhen she was only 13 years old and had her first brain tumor removed at GOSH. She has also lost the site in her left eye due to so many eye tumors. She also has 2 tumors on her kidney which will be removed sometime next year as they can turn cancerous once they get to a certain size she also has cyst on pancreas which they are keeping an eye on . . Even though Chloe is having treatment on her brain tumor she may still need surgery once it has been shrunk and could loose the use of her legs . .
