Weʼre raising £300 to funeral costs and the Douglas Macmillan, on behalf of our mum who we lost too soon via bariatric surgery!

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Our mum had a gastric bypass in April 2016 which was supposedly a gastric sleeve, and despite myself and my 2 siblings begging her not to do it she went under the knife for a full gastric bypass. Our mum died on 14th June 2018 because of the gastric bypass (confirmed by the coroner) and now she has to endure an investigation into her death. All we want to do is raise awareness to bariatric surgery and inform those who have either had it or are looking at having it that you need to request the mortality rates off your consultant or GP before you make a decision. Our mum lost 8 stone within the first 6 months and died weighing aprrox 6 stone, when she had her bypass she was 24 stone. Bariatric surgery is wrong and I have never believed in it even, when working in the NHS and when mum told me what she was doing both myself my sister and brother begged her not too but she ignored us all, Moral of the story, if you are considering or going in for bariatric surgery, please don't, you may end up dead like our mum x
