    Story

Everyone has been affected so greatly by the death of my brother Mike Perry. He was an amazing man.... He meant so much to so many.
We would like to have a place where anyone can go when they need some time to reflect on a problem, to find peace or just to remember good times. The intention is to request a memorial bench along Policemans Path in Hyde Park. This will hopefully give many people pleasure whether they knew Mike or not. Hyde Park was a special place to Mike and was his final resting place in a peaceful, secluded area. His memory will live on in our hearts and minds always, but we know he would want to continue doing good even if only in spirit through all his lovely friends, colleagues and of course his closest loved ones. If we are able to raise enough along with Mike's family input, it would mean there would be the bench for all to use and a substantial donation to the Royal British Legion which was a charity close to his heart. So if you want to be part of a special gift for a very special man, then please feel free to donate whatever you can afford. Please don't over stretch yourself as that isn't what Mike would want. He would just want everyone to be part of something that will keep his memory alive for years to come.
Thank you all for your amazing support. Your kind messages and your friendship with a man I am so proud to call my brother. He will live on through all those he touched with his smile and his mischievous laugh. Many many thanks from all of his family.
Joan (Mum), Brad (Dad), Sharon (No 1 sister) and me... Nikki (No 2 sister) xxx

One final massive thank you to everyone that touched my brother's life and made it special. Your friendship, love and support meant everything to him and has been of huge comfort to those he has left behind. His smile will live on in our hearts forever and his work is now done. We hope his bench will be a source of pleasure to many and his charity donation will be put to good use for those who served in the armed forces. Love to all and thank you for your kindness and generosity xx

With only a few days to go before the page closes. I would just like to thank everyone for their support, both with their very generous donations and their loving words for an amazing man that I am proud to call my brother. The bench is currently being engraved and I am assured will be installed in the North Meadow in Hyde Park ready for Winter Wonderland. The remaining donations will be sent to The Royal British Legion. Thank you all so much. Nikki xx

Apologies for no updates for a while. I haven't been very well... However I have been home for a short period and have been lucky enough to be offered a job in The Dunkirk Memorial Care Home in Bishops Lydeard which is a home run by The Royal British Legion. So I hope to not only be able to help the people living there with my care but also the donation that will come from this Just Giving Page that will go to all people getting support from The Legion. Thank you all for your continued support :-) xxx
