Weʼve raised £10,576 to Help my friend Slim Borgudd Ex F1driver, Ex drummer with Abba, Ex European Truck Racing champion. He now has Altzheimers .

Story
Slim was never a well funded driver and to achieve what he did in getting to F1 when he was already 34years old showed great determination, after F1 he was European truck racing Champion in 86 and 87, but this did not earn a great deal of money. In the last decade he has had his own preparation company running Radicals and Historic F3 with plenty of success, now due to this terrible disease he is not able to do anything and like many people in the lower echelones of Motorsport he has no savings to fall back on.
So we are trying to raise money to help both him and his partner now carer live until the disease takes its final toll.

1 year agoA big thankyou everyone for helping reach our target, If you can keep giving please do so, because Slims problems are going to continue for some time. I have posted a picture on my facebook page of Slim racing with David Kennedy in the Ralt RT1I prepared for him in 1977/8. We are going to use this money to give medical support and do the best for his quality of life in the time he has left. Once again a big thankyou. Mike
