A group of volunteers from the Exotic Pet Refuge are taking part in the Air Ambulance 's Peterborough "Glow in the park" event in Oct dressed in animal onesies. The Exotic Pet Refuge is a small charity that cares for exotic animals who have been mistreated , unwanted or can no longer be cared for by their owners. Injured or orphaned British wildlife is also cared for by the Exotic Pet Refuge. They are NOT a zoo so can only open to the public 6 days a year to raise funds for the animals upkeep. They house over 200 birds, reptiles and mammals and are looking to build a new rehabilitation and veterinary unit as their present one is over 20 years.
