Saint Gobain, Rencol Bristol are holding fund raising activities throughout May starting with a Static Bike Race between their two factories on Patchway Trading Estate. This is to help raise money towards a life saving operation for one of our colleague's best friend's son Mikolaj.
Mikolaj has Neuroblastoma cancer, he was diagnosed at just 7 months and requires a treatment called GD2. The family are planning to take Mikolaj to Germany for this treatment - one of the few countries where it is available.
Anytime Fitness kindly provided the bikes for the event and it is being run just before the start of the Tour de Yorkshire - the event which inspired the idea.
