Owing to the high incidence of HIV in Swaziland there are about 180,000 AIDS orphans. These children are taken care of in their local communities with the support of a Neighbourhood Care Point where they can access care, meals, clothing and education. As part of my trip I will spend time helping at an allocated care point. This can involve helping with construction and refurbishment, painting, teaching, conservation or agricultural work. Over the coming months I will be organising and participating in various events to help me raise the money needed to pay for my travel including a 10 mile walk and climb of the highest point in the South of England (Brown Clee in Shropshire) in October. Any amount you can contribute will be a great help and will enable me to use this amazing oppotunity to help others.
