This is our dog Rufus! We rescued him recently after his owner didn't have time for him. Roo spent a lot of his time in a shed and so is very anxious due to his lack of exposure to everyday things and had received little to no training, more concerning though was that he was barely socialised with other dogs-he isn't nasty or malicious but he doesn't know how to greet another dogs and so he can upset them sometimes with his hyperactivness.

Rufus is a Welsh cattle dog (welsh collie) and needs a lot of exercise and sometimes letting him off with other dogs can lead to stressful encounters for us, Rufus and the other owners and dogs.

He's a real sweety and he loves a cuddle but we want to give him the best life we can but have quickly realised we don't have the knowledge to socialise him and familiarise him with everyday things such as the vets. However we do not want to rehome him but we do want to gain the knowledge we need to build him in to a calm and happy doggy! So we have found a great place we can learn however we need people's help to raise the funds to rehabilitate Rufus in to a happy balanced dog!
