Mitch and Amanda have agreed to run a half marathon to help fundraise for Integr8 Community CIC.

For the past 2 years, Integr8 Dance have been in discussion with Winchester City Council about taking over the lease of King Alfred Youth Activity Centre.

Our vision is to run this centre, so that children and young people have a safe space to attend activities and hang out. There are currently a number of charities here: Winchester Young Carers, Winnall Rock School and Key Changes Music Therapy. All of these charities do an amazing job for the communities they work with and without a home, they wouldn’t be able to run.

We have set up a new organisation called Integr8 Community CIC. This is our new completely non-for-profit Community Interest company. This company can apply for funding and all profits made must go back into the community. This CIC will run the building for all of the organisations based here.

Our dream is that we will be able to run dance classes from the building, however if anyone has been here recently, you will know that a lot of repairs and renovations need to be done before we can do that.

We are telling you now, because we need all of your help. This is a real chance to make an amazing community venue in Winchester for all ages where children, young people and adults can come and safely experience different activities including dance, music and drama.

We need all the support we can get!!
