I'm a surgeon, born in Yemen, but lived practically all my life in UK and now currently working in UAE. I want to raise some money for 2 causes that are dear to me:

1. YEMEN CHOLERA CRISIS: I want to support the work of charities working in war torn Yemen where the recent cholera epidemic has been described as the worst in the world.

2. NASIO Trust (KENYA): I climbed Kilimanjaro a few years ago with 10 friends working in hospitals in Manchester and London to raise funds for a charity (NASIO trust). This amazing charity are carrying out great work in West Kenya to support local deprived communities and HIV orphans. The Nasio Trust in Kisumu runs many projects but I'm particularly keen to support the Mudenyo Kadima Medical Centre who provide very needed free medical care to the deprived and a number of day centres in the region for HIV orphans.

I will be travelling to Kenya this July to help support new project developments and fund raise with my children Zain, Sami and Hana as well as with my sister, Haifa and my nephew Laith.
