    Story

I am 62 years old, at the age of 55 i was Diagnosed with Focal Dystonia. This affects my entire left side. I have a permenantly dislicated shoulder, a twisted left hand with sime fingers amputated. I have a severly twisted left foot. I have lost all the feeling in my left arm and leg. 3yrs ago i was given the news that i would never walk again. My husband is my only carer and he has been diagnosed with Parasomnia and has hurt himself quite badly while sleeping. He has also had a stroke. I have to watch him while he sleeps but can do nothing to help when he hurts himself. He is older than me by 10yrs, and is finding the physical istrength to help me much harder. I would be much happier if i had a system To raise the alarm to get help. The struggle to get me into the bath is now beyond him. It sounds like simple needs but would make a world of difference to my life. We have managed to fund second hand electric wheel chair and a stairlift, but our pesion income just does not stretch to these two things.
