Kasia is a 39 year old happy wife, and mum of two loving boys Bartek (11) and Mateusz (9). Over a year ago Kasia was diagnosed with stage IV ovarian cancer which spread into her abdomen and breast. Unfortunately standard treatment (First and Second line of chemotherapy) didn't work. Further checks showed lack of reaction to the standard chemotherapy treatment. Kasia also did extended genetic tests for BRACA1 and BRACA2 gens mutation but there wasn't any so yet another hope for new treatment was scrapped.
Now a chance for Kasia is to find alternative therapy which can fight this cancer. At the moment Kasia is using non standard treatments to enable her to strengthen her body and delay progress of the illness. This costs several thousand pounds a month that she has to pay from her own pocket.
