Mrs Strangwood was a teaching assistant at Moor Park Primary School who sadly lost her life to covid-19 in November 2020. She was a much loved member of the school community and made such a huge difference to the lives of the children, families and staff she supported and worked with over many years.

The Pupil Leadership Team have written to parents to tell them about their plans;

We are writing to you today because we would like to raise some money for our school. There is an area in our playground that we want to redesign and improve to make it a memorial garden for Mrs Strangwood.

Mrs Strangwood loved us all and we loved her too. We want to create a garden in her memory which will be full of her favourite flowers and plants. We want this garden to be a place where we can enjoy reading and sitting quietly with friends.

To be able to create our garden we need to raise awareness and money for our project to work, please donate to our worthy cause if you are able to.
