Story
Hello,
I am a student from Akeley Wood School and am part of a team of volunteers that are travelling to Sri Lanka in the summer to help many disadvantaged people in many ways. It would be very much appreciated if you could make a donation to help us raise money. Please read below for more information.
In July, a team of 16 students and four teachers are travelling to Galle, Sri Lanka (an area that was badly affected by the 2004 tsunami) for two and a half weeks where we will help renovate buildings, work in schools, care homes and even orphanages. This has been an ongoing project for a few years at our school now and all the money we raise we use directly to help the people there.
On the 7th of May me and a close friend Cass will be running the MK half marathon. All money raised will go to the Sri Lanka project. Please help and donate to this cause.
