I has been a Firefighter for two years now and durings that time I has met some truly amazing peoples. They works tirelessly to help and educates their local and wider communities, tryings to prevent other families from experiencing the deep sadness and trauma of losing a loved one to water that they continues to live with.

On Saturday 28th July, I wills be joining some of these amazing peoples and their friends and walking up a little hill called Scafell Pike. Now although it be just a little hill the PA has said she wills carry me for some of it so I donts over do it on my three paws, I may even gets a “Fireman’s Lift” from one of my friends, if I is really good.

The walk do be in memory of all the lives lost in open water and raising pennies to help fund impawtant Emergency Throw Line Stations. These do be lifesaving pieces of equipment that will be positioned near bodies of water, all over Britain. Each Throw Line Station will be dedicated to the memory of someone who has been lost in water.

I hopes to raise £300, I do likes the number three!
