Thank-you for taking the time to have a look at our JustGiving page. I have set up this page in Memory of my sister Melanie who sadly passed on 5th August. It’s with a saddened heart, that we are having to ask for help with this matter, Melanie’s death was a big shock, completely un-expected. She was so young still at just 33 so no provisions were in place for funeral plans. Any contribution no matter how big or small will be a HUGE help. Mel is a mum to 6 beautiful children aged 15, 13, 12, 9, 4, and 3 whom she leaves behind along with her devoted husband Adam. They have been together 17 years, married 15 and sadly had their lives together cut short.

We are raising funds to help towards costs for the funeral, and basic living necessities as Adam will no longer be able to work due to bringing up the children alone, the youngest of which as you are aware has Down Syndrome, so requires that extra time and attention.

We are all still so shocked and sad at the situation, she will be missing her sons GCSE results, and his 16th birthday which is just 4 days after her passing, her sons first day of school this September, and everything else. I myself have a little one starting school this September and it kills me that I’m getting to experience that, and she isn’t.
