I was introduced to an amazing woman in Romania who helps street dogs. The majority of these dogs have been left on the street by their owners and have had puppies. They come to the shelter hungry, cold and with injuries. The shelter receives no help from the government, she relies solely on donations from the public. Everyday is a struggle to feed and treat these dogs yet no dog is left behind. I am running the Cardiff half marathon to raise for funds so she can help these dogs before the cold winter comes.
