Story
This is written personally to each and every one of you. Whether you're one of my loving extended family, my supportive friends, or my trusted colleagues or acquaintances, I am reaching out to you.
As you know, I've been working closely with children, in the NHS, for nearly 11 years. These children and families have shown me more than I ever imagined.
The children, conditions, emergencies and issues have touched my heart deeply, and ingrained something inside me.
I feel compelled to do something to contribute, to give what I can. I don't have £1000s myself, but I feel confident that I know enough generous, giving people to help me do this, Insha'Allah.
There are 2 extremely worthy causes that I'm asking for help with, both of which mean a lot to me. More importantly, the benefits these beautiful endearing children will receive, are simply not measurable.
The first area I would like to help with centres around children with Downs Syndrome. There are so many inspiring strong parents who face daily struggles. Your funding can help make some of these struggles easier.
The second worthy cause is being organised by Olivia Cleary, to help buy a blood analysing gas machine for Paediatric A&E at Royal Oldham Hospital (Approx cost £4000).
The current one is in another department, it is so far away that sometimes samples clot by the time they get there. This means further samples have to be taken from already distressed children and parents in A&E. I know if this was your child, you would be more than upset.
I am donating £50 myself and will be completing a Skydive on August 19th 2018. This has already been paid for and will not be taken out of any monies raised.
Please find it in your hearts and pockets to dig as deeply as possible. Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to read this!
