Story
Little John's House is an orphanage in Romania for children with disabilities.
Every July and August Little John’s House hosts a summer school for orphans and young people from the surrounding area. They rely on groups of volunteers to provide a series of daily activities such as face painting, craft making, ball sports and outdoor games and informal music and movement sessions.
I and some other students from Gordonstoun school will be staying at the orphanage for two weeks departing on Friday 30th of June.
This project can be quite challenging both emotionally and physically but it is hugely rewarding. For many of the young Romanian people who attend the summer school it is the highlight of their year and the only time that they can get out all year round.
Your donation will help fund this trip and contribute to the cost of keeping the house running next year.
Thank you for your help!
