*Family Fun Day and Colour Rush 2017*

October marks 10 years since our beautiful daughter went into remission after a battle fighting Neuroblastoma, a form of cancer. Now 11 years old she's wanting to give something back, so as a family we thought we would organise a family fun day (date and venue to be confirmed) and a 5km jog/walk. We thought it would be a great way to raise money and awareness for a fantastic charity called "The Lewis mighty fund." Which is very close to our hearts.

So much money is raised each year for charities that are looking for a cure, that sometimes people are not aware of what children and their families go through once being diagnosed. The Lewis Mighty Fund supports children and their families emotionally, mentally and financially and provides help and support to get them through one of the most difficult times of their lives.

Throughout the year we are hoping to get as many people as possible involved in helping us raise as much money as possible. We as a family are taking part in, The colour rush on Sunday 18th June at 11.30pm at/

We are hoping to get the press and radio involved and make this a day to remember, raising as much money as possible and raising awareness of childhood cancer.
