Aimee is a beautiful caring 7 year old that is a big sister to phoebe and adored by her Mum Traci who is a self employed beautician and her dad Mark who works very hard and lives away during the week in London for work to provide for his family. Aimee was an ordinary 7 year old and had no worry or care in the world. A couple of weeks ago she started feeling poorly with a headache and muscle pain and just wasn't herself there was an awful flu like virus going around our small village and we all just assumed it could be that. Traci knowing her daughter inside out knew that she wasn't getting better and something was wrong. She took her to St Richards last week 30th Jan she had tests done and sent home to come back 2 days later for some more tests. On Wed the 1st Feb 2017 Aimee had a blood test and was sent home and would be called with the results later that day. The results lead to an MRI being carried out on Friday 3rf of Feb and the results where heartbreaking. Aimee had a 10mm growth on her spinal cord. She was blue lighted through to Southampton where she underwent emergency surgery. They have managed to remove most of the growth but unfortunately have discovered 3 more smaller growths and one is on her brain. Traci and Mark have been by her side throughout and Traci is sleeping in the hospital next to her in a chair. Mark is in the Ronald McDonald house and they are currently taking turns to be with her. On Wednesday 8th Feb they will find out the results of the growths and the next steps of treatment.

I am setting up this page as they have a long road ahead of them and as their friends and family I would like us to give them donation money from all of us so they can do something as a family even if it means a holiday of lifetime or to use the funds to help with just being able to afford to be off work and be with her.
