Fred Ssemanda was sponsored by the late Denise Robertson. When Denise met him, on a field trip to Uganda, he was a desperately struggling young orphan. Fred, now an adult and in receipt of a university education, has set up a foundation in her name in order to provide support and assistance to other struggling orphans who are without medical treatment and educational provisions.
