Douglas is a 5 year old Jack Russel x Corgy. He was enjoying an outing with his owner in a pub when he was attacked by a large dog who went for Douglas's neck.

The dog is normally muzzled but wasn't on this occasion. The dog was being looked after by a friend of the owner while the owner is in prison.
Douglas almost died in the attack, he was rushed to hospital and underwent life saving surgery. A few days later he had to be rushed to hospital for further surgery.
The vet bills amounted to over £2500.

Douglas's owner also ended up in undergoing general anasthetic due to a bone infection through a bite to the hand while trying to seperate the dogs.

Douglas is a gentle, sweet dog who means everything to his owner. I am fund raising on behalf of Douglas's owner.
