Story
I am a 21 year old Student Nurse studying at the University of Manchester. I am travelling to Nepal in the summer to complete a 6 week nursing placement with the organisation Work the World; all of which is self funded and unpaid.
The cost of this placement is around £3000 of which I have raised nearly half by working several jobs fitted in around my studies. Unfortunately, whilst playing Rugby I have broken my thumb and have had surgery meaning I cannot work making it difficult to raise the remaining funds.
***So I've decided to enter the Great Manchester HALF MARATHON on 28th May 2017***
A minimum of £200 of the money raised will be going to The Christie hospital. The Christie is based in Manchester and is an international leader in cancer research with world- first breakthroughs for over a 100 years!!
