We're currently taking part in NCS - a project popular throughout the UK and set-up and funded by the government in 2010 to help young people like ourselves to gain vital skills for the future.

Our 'Social Action Project' consists of our small team of 16-year olds helping out and improving our local society or community. As a result, we have joined with Carla-Lane Animal Shelter in Melling to help project further awareness and support and gain donations to help with renovations to the shelters, the sanctuary itself and to help the animals in Carla-Lane.

We are doing our utmost best to gather collections and items to help go towards the refurbishment and to improve the quality of life these animals lead. We, therefore, have created many fundraising events between Monday 17th July to Friday 21st July to help.

However, we cannot do this on our own. So, if you could spare anything you have, anything at all, we would be incredibly grateful. Whether it's £1 or £10. 50p or a fiver. Everything you give will make a tremendous difference and will go a long way to help improve the lives of these amazing animals.
