As part of our NCS programme with Action4Youth we are raising money to help the Aylesbury homeless action group (AHAG) in their mission to eradicate homelessness in the Aylesbury area. In order to do this we are all going to undertake a ten mile sponsored walk around the Aylesbury canal area, a common site for homeless people. Funds raised from this will help to provide packs with supplies such as sleeping bags, tents and phones in the short term. Whilst in the long term it will help to provide temporary accommodation and clothes/support for job interviews to help those in need get back on their feet. As well as this sponsored walk, we are providing a charity movie night in Waddesden and a coffee morning as well as bag packing at a local supermarket.
