Weʼre raising £1,000 to help provide a clinical environment, equipment and needles at Thrangu Phende clinic in Nepal
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

Following the recent disasters in Nepal there is an even greater demand to lend our support. This is a country full of proud and kind people but with great poverty and in most instances negligible health care. This will be the third period of voluntary work at Namo Buddha (a buddhist monastery in Nepal). Again this year we have funded our own flights and accommodation and will be providing free acupuncture at the clinic but this year we are asking for help to improve the deteriorating clinic, provide essential medical supplies and the purchase of equipment. So far (mid December 2017) £1,000 has been raised by our very kind friends, family and patients every penny of which goes direct to providing that equipment and will remain at the monastery. It is hoped that a little more can be raised in particular to improve the clinic. Please help, every acupuncture needle goes towards pain relief and a box of needles costing around £5 will typically treat 10 people and enable patients to return to work and earn money for their families many of whom are in poverty.
