Dear all

I am going to be running the Richmond runfest half marathon on 16th September 2018. As part of this, I will be raising money for service users of Hexagon Centre Eastleigh Community Link. This is a day centre which supports adults with a learning disability and complex needs to access activities and opportunities based within the community. Such centres are continuously subjected to immense financial pressures yet continue to do a great job.

There is a personal backstory to this. My sister Fian has been going there for the past 12 years. Fian has always loved going to the day centre and the staff have always been incredibly supportive of her. They are an extremely friendly group of people who have been excellent at RUNning the show! I am running this half marathon to give something back to a centre that has been a large part of my sister's life. The money raised will help them to continue to support adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
