Last year at age 4, Nellie set herself a challenge to try to swim 30 lengths. Pretty impressive for a 4 year old? Only she went and smashed it and swam an incredible 64 lengths (1.5km, 1mile) at just 4 years old. Her and her sisters raised a great amount (thank you all) for The Friends of Kirkby On Bain Primary School who have donated this to the school to get their much coveted improved library off to a flying start.

This year, very much as a personal challenge, she has once again set herself a huge challenge. 100 lengths at just 5 years old (2.5k/1.55miles)

As a last minute thought we decided why not try to see if we can get the library finished! What a huge accomplishment both would be.
