Weʼve raised £135 to Help pay for a bat for a young lad that had his brand new bat pinched by some thug after the England game whilst waiting for his bus.

Story
Basically,
A young 16 year old lad that plays cricket for our town in Ilkeston, had his brand new £300 cricket bat stolen by a random lout after the England game vs Sweden. The lad was waiting for his bus at the top of town minding hos own business when approached and had his bat stolen from his bag.
He was visibly shaken by this and obviously this was his pride and joy.
I’d like to prove to him that there are some good people in our town and although unlikely that he’ll get his bat back, we can fund a new one for him.
